Royal Kings Arms features in Lancashire Life magazine
Royal Kings Arms is proud to feature in this month’s edition of Lancashire Life to showcase all of the new refurbishments throughout a historic building being reborn in the heart of Lancaster.
The Royal Kings Arms General Manager, Bob Warrior, explains the investment and transformations that are breathing life back into the hotel.
‘The hotel hasn’t served the people of Lancaster well in recent times and we want to address that’.
The first completed stage was the Brasserie which is located on the ground floor. The kitchen offers an extensive à la carte menu with signature dishes from regionally sourced produce.
The renovations don’t stop there as plans continue for a Japanese-style garden in the back of the hotel, the ballroom along with its luxurious and recently restored original chandelier, the hotel’s 55 letting rooms and the impressive set of mirrors that have just been installed onto the first floor.
Another popular development to the historic hotel has been the downstairs basement which has been converted into a luxury cocktail lounge and eatery, The Crypt. Offering a variety of 70 champagnes, wines and traditional cocktails that have been specially created by the Crypt’s world-renowned mixologist, Colin Griffiths, it’s hard to turn down this popular option for a night out in Lancaster.
The continued development to the much-loved hotel is one that the new owners and General Manager take much pride in as they continue to serve the people and visitors of Lancaster.
